Important Information
Minimum Catering Spend
The Plough Inn does not charge room hire however a minimum catering spend will be required in order to secure a function room. The minimum catering spend is ‘food only’ and confirmed at the time of booking
Finalising your Function
Catering requirements, number of guests and full catering payment must be finalised five business days prior to the function.
Audio Visual Equipment
Microphone and LCD screens in function rooms are available for complimentary hire.
Decorations
Theming, decorations and external Audio Visual equipment may be brought onsite. Confetti, scatters, party poppers and blu-tac are not permitted. Fees are applicable for any damage and excessive cleaning that may occur.
Balloon Packages are available
$40 30 x helium balloons
$60 50 x helium balloons
Includes: Quality latex balloons in mixed colours, helium & curling ribbon
Food and Alcohol
Groups may bring in Birthday Cakes with the prior approval of the Function Manager. A fee does apply for cake to be cut and serve by wait staff @ $2.50 per person. No other food or drink may be consumed onsite.
Bond / Cancellation Fees
A bond is required for all reservations and will be refunded expect in the cases of excessive cleaning, damage or abusive behaviour.
Minors
Guests under the age of 18 years are permitted to attend functions with prior approval by the Functions Manager and only when supervised by their parents/guardians at all times. Minors are welcome to attend functions until 2130.
Noise Limits
Noise restrictions are applicable at all times, no amplified music beyond 10pm
Responsible Service
Plough Inn practices responsible service of alcohol in accordance with the Queensland Liquor Act. Function groups will be removed for disorderly behavior.
